Dreamweaver wouldn’t connect to server over SFTP

So the other day, I was trying to upload my updated page to my school server by syncing to the server through the Dreamweaver file management window.  But I kept getting an error immediately upon trying to connect to the server.  I then remembered that the week before, my college updated the server and changed the SSH key.  So once I remembered that, I realized that Dreamweaver wasn’t pulling the new key from the server (which you think it would since the program costs a few hundred dollars) for some strange reason.  So upon some heavy Googling, I found the location of where Dreamweaver stores the SSH keys.  It stores it in the ssh_hosts file in the following directory:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS4/en_US/Configuration

So if you ever come across this error, simply open that file and delete the row that corresponds to the server you are trying to connect to.

New MacBook Pro’s

Today Apple released new MacBook Pro’s with some very impressive updates.  They have finally put Intel i7 Quad Core’s, with speeds up to 2.3GHz.  They have also included new graphics cards with up to 1GB of GDDR5 memory.  Depending one your selection (on either the 15-inch or the 17-inch), you will get either get the AMD Radeon HD 6490M or the 6750M.  Finally, probably the biggest jump in specs and hardware is the inclusion of Light Peek, which Apple is calling Thunderbolt.  The port, which will able to transfer data at up to 10 Gbps, is in a way merging with the Mini-Display port.  Thunderbolt will be able to transfer data as well as be able to be used as a display port.  They have stuck with 4GB of RAM as the default selection, with the ability to upgrade to 8GB.  The 13-inch model has gotten upgrades to Core i5’s or i7’s, depending on the selection, but will still be dual-core.  With Mac OS X Lion coming out this summer, this is a very impressive upgrade for Apple, as they continue to stay ahead of competitors, despite prices not changing.
